Sarah is a seasoned editorial and communications professional with 20 years of experience crafting compelling stories and multi-platform campaigns for creative brands. With deep expertise in strategic content development and digital marketing, she has held leadership positions at Dwell, IDEO, Heath Ceramics, and Good Eggs. Her creative work extends beyond brand marketing into journalism, with published articles and essays appearing in The Atlantic, Smithsonian, and other national magazines. Sarah is also the author of Urban Farms, a book profiling agricultural change agents; and co-author of Worldchanging: A User’s Guide to the 21st Century. She is the founder of a small brand called Department of Invisible Labor and dabbles as a consultant in interior design. She sits on the board of Girls Garage, a non-profit design school for girls and gender-expansive youth; and is part of Rainbow Families Action, an advocacy group supporting and protecting LGBTQ+ youth.
